COMPANY PROFILE
Stölzle Lausitz has been related to glass for almost 200 years. Carl Stölzle built his first
glasswork factory in 1835, in the Lower Austrian region of Waldviertel, and the company
“Stölzle” has grown into one of the largest internationally-renowned glass manufacturers,
producing high-quality lead-free crystal drinking glasses distributed globally.
Stölzle Lausitz is one of a few manufacturers who specialize in producing machine pulled
and melted stems. These crystal glasses have neither joint between the stem and bowl,
with characteristics similar to handmade glasses. These glasses have a high resistance to
breakage and have been certified dishwasher safe.
Stölzle is committed to ecologically responsible actions and careful use of resources.
All products are 100% lead-free and do not contain any other harmful substances. This
means all Stölzle glassware is easily recyclable. In addition, as an active participant in the
EU Emission Trading Scheme, Stölzle continually works on reducing greenhouse gases by
using state-of-the art technologies.
